Who Is Responsible for Travel Costs when Parents Live Far Away from Each Other?

Florida law states that each parent should be responsible for travel costs to effectuate timesharing using the same ratio that is used to determine the cost splits for other child care expenses.  For instance, if mom earns $2500/month and dad earns $5000/month, then mom should be required to pay 1/3 of the travel costs and dad should be required to pay 2/3 of the travel costs.
